Lusk Men’s Shed is a community space where men of all ages can connect, share skills, and work on projects in a relaxed and friendly environment. Whether it’s woodworking, gardening, or simply having a chat over a cup of tea, it’s all about friendship, purpose, and belonging.

Standing tall in the heart of our town, the Lusk Round Tower.

Lusk Round Tower is a proud reminder of the area’s long and fascinating past. Built over a thousand years ago, it remains one of Ireland’s finest examples of early monastic architecture and continues to watch over the community today.

Just as the tower has stood the test of time, the Men’s Shed celebrates that same spirit of connection, heritage, and belonging that defines life in Lusk.

Our Story in Lusk

(Est. 2022)

Lusk Men’s Shed began as a small group of locals looking for a place to meet, talk, and get involved in the community.

With the help of local support and the wider Men’s Sheds network, it’s grown into a vibrant part of life in the village. Members meet regularly at the Parish Centre, right beside the Green, and often gather at Lusk Round Tower, a landmark that’s become a symbol of the Shed’s connection to the area.Lusk Round Tower is a proud reminder of the area’s long and fascinating past. Over the years, the Shed has taken part in community projects, hosted talks and workshops, and provided a space for friendship and learning. Why Join a Men's Shed?

There are many reasons to join a men’s shed. If you are someone who, after retiring (though not exclusively limited to retirees), still has a lot to offer, you might want to share your skills with other men. Or if you have found yourself in need of a friend, there are countless reasons for joining a shed. Men's Sheds provide an ideal environment for the promoting and fostering of positive mental health leading to an improvement in overall health and wellbeing.
